Our team is distributed worldwide and made up of passionate travellers and techies harnessing the power of blockchain technology to fundamentally change the future of travel. We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to identify and acquire potential customers for token ecosystem growths on Travala’s platform. This role will focus on building strong ties with cryptocurrency projects, negotiating token partnership deals, and driving the growth of Travala’s token ecosystem. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the cryptocurrency space, excels at networking, and has a strong background in business development within the blockchain industry.

The Location
Our Business Development team is mainly based in Asia however this role is open to all locations with an option to work remotely while maintaining 80%(or more) time zone overlap with the existing team (ICT - Indochina Time). 

Responsibilities
  • Identify, approach, and engage cryptocurrency projects and token issuers to explore token partnership opportunities on Travala’s platform.
  • Build and manage strategic relationships with token partners, ensuring successful negotiations for token onboarding and partnerships to drive revenue growth and achieve business targets.
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to increase revenue and expand Travala’s cryptocurrency ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (product, legal, marketing, etc.) to ensure smooth and compliant integration of new tokens.
  • Research and stay up to date with cryptocurrency market trends, emerging tokens, and innovative blockchain projects to identify potential listing opportunities.
  • Monitor and report on performance, providing regular updates to leadership.


Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales within the blockchain or cryptocurrency industry.
  • In-depth understanding & relevant experience in the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry, including strong grasp of trends, themes, tokenomics, etc.
  • Proven track record of building and managing successful partnership deals in the cryptocurrency space.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Demonstrable passion for cryptocurrency and blockchain
  • Fluent in English

    Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with tokenized ecosystems or in blockchain startups.
  • Established network in the cryptocurrency and blockchain community.
