Job description

A rapidly growing ICT company, specialising in hardware and software distribution and delivering innovative solutions that enhance business efficiency to clients across varied sectors, is seeking a full-time, permanent remote Business Development Manager. You’ll play a critical role in building partnerships with enterprises, acquiring large scale clients by leveraging the organisations' hardware and software solutions, and value-added services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive new business opportunities to meet the target through strategic sales initiatives and partnerships.
  • Secure a minimum of 10 enterprise clients (1000+ employees) or partners or resellers that cater for large-scale end users.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend the right solutions from the organisations’ portfolio, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and purpose.
  • Identify gaps in the current portfolio and propose new solutions to enhance their offerings.
  • Act as a trusted tech solutions advisor, ensuring an exceptional customer experience through personalised service and tailored solutions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with resellers and software companies to expand the organisations’ reach and influence.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, tracking prospects, negotiations, and deal closures.


Requirements
  • Proven track record in business development, partnerships or sales.
  • Experience in selling software, hardware solutions, or value-added services, would be advantageous.
  • Ability to understand complex customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience working with large enterprises and high-net worth clients.
  • A strategic thinker who is proactive, innovative, and adaptable.
  • Have a vehicle and a valid drivers license.
  • Needs to be based in Gauteng.
