Job description

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Azure Purview Expert with over 10 years of hands-on experience in data governance, data management, and cloud-based solutions to lead our enterprise data governance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft Azure Purview, a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable data governance frameworks, and the ability to guide cross-functional teams in leveraging Azure Purview for compliance, data cataloging, and lineage tracking.

Qualifications

·         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

·         10+ years of experience in data management and governance.

·         5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Purview, including implementation, configuration, and administration.

·         Expert-level proficiency in Azure Purview, including data cataloguing, lineage tracking, and compliance management.

·         Deep understanding of data governance principles, metadata management, and data quality best practices.

·         Experience with other Azure data services (e.g., Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks) is highly desirable.

·         Strong understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

·         Strong experience with data integration, ETL processes, and metadata management.

·         Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

·         Azure certifications related to data and analytics are a plus.

Certifications:

·         Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203) or equivalent.

·         Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) preferred.

·         Additional certifications in data governance or compliance (e.g., CDP, CISM) are a plus.
