What You’ll Do
  • Design, deploy, and maintain applications on the Azure platform, ensuring security and efficiency.
  • Implement and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform or ARM templates.
  • Ensure security integration by working closely with development teams to implement security best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and respond to security incidents promptly.
  • Automate security assessments, infrastructure management, and deployments using scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Collaborate within Scrum teams, working closely with developers, QA, and Product Owners to meet project goals and deadlines.
  • Document procedures and processes for future reference and troubleshooting.
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, ideally in projects around product development using Databricks.
  • Extensive knowledge of Azure cloud services (IaaS & PaaS) and Microsoft Azure architecture.
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, including Terraform, ARM templates, or Ansible.
  • Proven hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation and management.
  • Experience with unit testing and integration testing.
  • Solid understanding of security best practices, including threat modeling, risk assessment, and vulnerability management.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
  • Desirable knowledge of Databricks and its integration with cloud platforms.
  • Strong experience in monitoring security threats and responding to incidents.
  • Agile mindset with experience in Scrum frameworks and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
