General
The Regional Manager is responsible for managing operations and developing the business in his/her territories. Constant collaboration with the operations team in Rotterdam is necessary to successfully complete the service, repair and modernization projects in the Americas region. He/She may also be expected to attend on requests of customers operating in the same timezone. The role also requires the ability to identify operational gaps and present them to the headquarters to seek appropriate actions for improvements.
The regional manager is also responsible for assisting the Global Network Manager at finding and contracting new Partners (sub-contractors), maintaining and further optimizing the existing Partners in the Americas region. And in addition organizing and coordinating administrative duties to ensure organizational effectiveness, communication and safety.

Job description
Organize office operations and procedures
Address employees queries regarding office management issues including, maintenance, mailing, supplies, equipment, credit cards etc
Preparing proposals
Organizing and coordinating projects
External contacts (port authorities, office owner, insurances, local agents and travel agents)
General administration of projects (invoicing, certifications)
Renewing of port licenses and insurances
Answer calls during office hours and manage requests
1st level HR for new hires
Reporting of business performance in the region
Sourcing materials and coordinating deliveries
Manage stock in the region and warehousing
Backup for other Country Managers in the same time zone
Coordinating of work for local technicians and ensure high utilization of the resource
Analyze the existing partner network, identify blank spots and opportunities (presence, price, quality), and work closely with our Global Network team to maintain and grow the partner network in the region
Negotiate new partner contract in the region and renegotiate existing contracts to better terms
