We are now calling on all Jr. Accounting Specialist Heroes! OTO is currently on the hunt for a seasoned Jr. Accounting Specialist to join our team! Bring your A-game, expertise, and enthusiasm & join us in driving OTO's growth into the MENA Market! Join us and let's conquer new horizons together!

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Assist with managing the invoice process for OTO by supporting the validation and processing of supplier invoices, helping ensure accuracy and timely collections to maintain healthy cash flow;
• Help review and verify the accuracy of financial transactions, including both incoming and outgoing payments;
• Aid in allocating payments to the correct accounts and assist with reconciliations to ensure financial integrity;
• Support the verification of vendor invoices for compliance with contractual agreements and assist in processing them to meet payment deadlines;
• Contribute to the preparation of financial reports by providing accurate and timely data to help OTO make informed decisions;
• Assist in reviewing and validating journal entries for accuracy and provide support in managing financial accounts within ZOHO Books;
• Help generate reports on outstanding accounts receivable and support the follow up process with clients regarding overdue payments;
• Contribute to the analysis of financial data, identifying trends and providing insights into OTO's financial health;
• Assist with reconciling the Tap Payment account, ensuring transactions match payments and resolving discrepancies;
• Aid in reconciling COD payments with distribution center records, reviewing COD reports for accuracy;
• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of expenditures, receipts, and other financial documentation for easy access and reference;
• Support the creation and presentation of accurate financial reports to OTO’s management to aid in strategic decision-making;
• Any other duties as required by management.

Requirements:

For this role, it is essential that have 

• Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or any other related field.
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in Turkish accounting, e-invoicing, and e-ledger systems.

It will be considered a big plus if you:

• International experience
• Previous work in fast-growing SaaS start-ups
