About The Role:

We’re looking for a dedicated QA Engineer/Tester to join us on this exciting journey. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our testing processes, define best practices, and grow a testing team from the ground up.

As a founding member of the testing team, you’ll have the autonomy to drive how QA evolves within our organization. You’ll also work closely with the product team to ensure we deliver high-quality, user-friendly solutions.

What You’ll Do
  • Be the lead QA and establish the foundation for our testing processes and culture.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and product teams to understand requirements, identify test scenarios, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs, and work with developers to ensure timely resolution.
  • Advocate for quality throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring testing is integrated early and often.
  • Work closely with the product team to understand user needs and ensure the product meets customer expectations.
  • Evaluate and implement testing tools and frameworks to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Mentor future QA team members as the team grows, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
  • Continuously improve QA processes and contribute to a culture of quality across the organization.

What We’re Looking For
  • 2+ years of experience in software testing/QA, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience with both manual and automated testing (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams.
  • A proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
  • Bonus points if you have experience.
  • Previously worked in a startup or small team environment.
  • Experience bBuilding a QA function from scratch.
  • Using CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Testing web applications, APIs, or mobile apps.
