Summary:

The Manager International Supply Chain CI Integration will provide a critical leadership role with ownership of the International Supply Chain Continuous Improvement Program.  He/She will work closely with the key stakeholders across the International Business Units to facilitate decision making, remove roadblocks, outline risks and opportunities to drive operational solutions and provide CI program health visibility to senior leadership.  Responsibilities include: leading development and oversight of the International Supply Chain multi-year CI Master Plan, collaborating with key regional stakeholders in CI strategic project portfolio development and prioritization, assist business units with new opportunity identification, mentor in-country resources on project ideation and development, and deploy the CI Center of Excellence business processes and tools to the regions.  This position will lead prioritization of resources (people and capital) based on brand portfolio roles and business priorities, getting the right resources involved to quickly investigate opportunities, make decisions, and bring resolution to problems ensuring appropriate involvement across key functions to deliver the business plans.

 

In addition, the Mgr Intl Supply Chain CI Integration will:

 

Lead the identification, development, and execution of International Supply Chain CI Program, including strategy and portfolio development.

  • Lead development of the multi-year International Supply Chain CI portfolio, including leading cross-functional ideation sessions, opportunity valuation, prioritization, securing resources, developing action plans, and establishing business alignment.
  • Lead cross-functional teams including Procurement, QRC, R&D, OBD, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Logistics to outline operational feasibility assessment of savings, implementation timing and capital requirements. Assess operational readiness and ensure operational risks are clearly identified.  Lead resolution of issues and development of contingency plan.
  • Manage interdependencies between business opportunity and operational plan to achieve required deliverables.
  • Provides strong leadership to influence country and regional teams to develop and execute with excellence CI initiatives.

 

Serve as liaison between the CI Center of Excellence and the Regions.

  • Serve as the CI business process subject matter expert.
  • Deploy CI Center of Excellence business processes and tools to the Regions including training and consultation services.
  • Lead deployment of new CI methodologies to the Regions.
  • Lead best demonstrated practices, project portfolio opportunity, and lessons learned exchange between the CI Center of Excellence and the Regions.

 

Lead the identification, development, and execution of international network/sourcing CI strategy and portfolio.

  • Lead development of the multi-year manufacturing network/sourcing CI portfolio, including leading cross-functional ideation session, establishing business alignment and action plans.
  • Develop network/sourcing optimization solutions to achieve desired implementation and financial targets.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to outline operational feasibility to include product sourcing options, implementation timing and capital requirements.
  • Lead the development and evaluation of all project costs to determine justification.
  • Manage interdependencies between business opportunity and operational plan to achieve required deliverables.

 

Manage the International Margin Expansion capital plan to deliver the CI plan.

  • Lead CI reviews with senior leadership in International MBR and International Supply Review meetings.
  • Collaborate with Key stakeholders, the CI Center of Excellence, and Corporate Capital Administration in multi-year capital plan development.
  • Oversee capital project portfolio to ensure spending is managed within budget.
  • Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and escalate as necessary for resolution.

 

Lead the International CI steering and reporting process.

  • Lead cross-functional team recurring steering meetings.
  • Identify risks to plan and develop mitigation strategies to close gaps.
  • Ensure all Regions are tracking to the master CI plan development glide path.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Regional stakeholders in quarterly P&L/CI reconciliation process.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial CI KPI reporting.

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge and understanding of supply chain operations and the correlation to operating budgets, product costs and total delivered costs
  • Working knowledge of Hershey operations including Global Supply Chain through customer delivery, manufacturing footprint, Network Strategy and Optimization
  • Knowledge and application of SAP/S4 Hana or other ERP Systems
  • Advanced working knowledge with Microsoft Excel
  • Proven leadership capabilities with ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Strong financial and business acumen
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills
  • Exceptional skills in managing multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong problem solving and influencing skills
  • Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
  • Fluency in two or more languages, preferably
  • Ability to travel Internationally up to 50%
