Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting a Project Manager – Hazardous Waste & Site Investigation (3429).

Navarro Research and Engineering is looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee hazardous waste compliance, site investigations, and remediation projects. This role supports RCRA enforcement and permitting activities, providing technical expertise and ensuring project success.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct project management support to ensure quality execution of environmental projects.
  • Supervise and coordinate sampling efforts, site investigations, and environmental compliance reviews.
  • Lead the preparation and review of QA sampling plans, corrective action studies, and environmental assessments.
  • Monitor project performance, ensuring compliance with financial targets and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as the technical lead in coordination with the EPA, state agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Support the development and implementation of waste characterization and site remediation strategies.
  • Assist in preparing technical reports, risk assessments, and compliance documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in environmental fieldwork, hazardous waste management, or site remediation.
  • Familiarity with EPA regulations, including RCRA, TSCA, and CERCLA.
  • Strong experience in budget management and team leadership.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
