Senior QA Engineer (Automation)

Our partner is a UK-based company and a recognized innovator in the insurance industry, committed to revolutionizing how insurance solutions are delivered and experienced. They are currently expanding their R&D team in Bulgaria and are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join their growing team.

What you’ll do:

• Establish and promote best practices for automation QA processes and strategies.
• Ensure high coverage for automation tests, focusing on regression and integration testing.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to identify test requirements and design comprehensive test plans.
• Execute automated test scripts and analyze test results to identify defects and ensure product quality.
• Continuously improve and optimize automation testing processes.
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in automation best practices.
• Develop, implement, and maintain automation test frameworks.

What you bring to the table:

• Strong knowledge and experience with automation testing tools and frameworks like Playwright and/or Cypress.
• Experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.
• Solid understanding of the (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• 5+ years of experience in automation testing.
• Knowledge of performance and security testing.
• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge in Java and/or Python will be a plus.
