We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for a Business and MIS Analyst within our Home Furniture team to help support our business. As a Business and MIS Analyst, you will have the opportunity to support all phases of the product lifecycle, from data analysis and product portfolio maintenance to SKU management and end-of-life activities. Your contributions will have a direct impact on business growth, innovation, and speed to market by driving efficiency and improving decision-making processes. So, what will you be doing as a Business and MIS Analyst?
• Drive People First culture and behavior into the work environment and interactions
• Foster a continuous improvement and growth mindset within a global team atmosphere
• Support creation and maintenance of the product portfolio using sales data and category management inputs, focusing on high-value business opportunities and product lines driving profitability
• Report product performance in relation to internal and external metrics
• Analyze sales data to inform and support business decisions with an emphasis on product lifecycle, including analysis of rebates and royalties
• Support creation and maintenance of product lifecycle data
• Provide basic technical support for user roles and serve as administrator for business-specific applications
• Analyze business data and processes to identify potential expansions of business-focused technology and assist in implementation
• Create necessary reports and dashboards to support data analysis and product performance reporting
• 10% domestic and international travel
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field strongly preferred; relevant experience will be considered
• 6+ years of sales analysis, product management, or related experience preferred
• Proven ability to analyze and manage detailed sales information, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
• Experience successfully managing multiple requests in a high volume, detail-oriented environment
• Ability to create and deploy data-related technology solutions for business processes; data analysis and information system development is a plus
• Proven ability to take on projects with minimal direction, solve problems, and be resourceful
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to interface with cross-functional teams including sales, project managers, and other stakeholders
Things we consider a plus:
• Experience with systems such as MS Office suite, Qlikview, MS PowerBI, Zoho Project Management, and iScala
• Bilingual skills are a plus
