BEUMER Group in the Benelux is responsible for consulting, sales, commissioning, and service. Our headquarters is located in Ede, Netherlands. Additionally, we have offices in Schiphol (Netherlands), Bornem (Belgium), and Genk (Belgium). Our team currently consists of 200 colleagues who live and work throughout the Benelux.

Our company strategy emphasizes a strong commitment to sustainability. As an intern, you will explore, analyse, and identify ways to optimize our operational processes to make them as sustainable as possible. Part of this principle is the identification of sustainable solutions for parts of our products and the identification of sustainable practices within the company.

Project Description:

• Explore and analyse current operational processes.
• Explore potential business opportunities related to BEUMER's scope of supply, taking into consideration the 'butterfly model'.
• Identify sustainable solutions for products/product parts, or solutions considering the 3 basic strategies: product ownership, product life extension and design for recycling.
• Define and suggest sustainable practices within the company that are in alignment with resources, capabilities, and constraints.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure sustainable solutions are integrated effectively.

• Enhance your ability to collaborate across departments.
• Improve knowledge of sustainable practices in a business environment.
