We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Clinical Quality Specialist to join our team and contribute to our mission of clinical excellence and continuous improvement.

Position Overview

As a Clinical Quality Specialist at Action Behavior Centers, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing clinical quality standards within our organization. Reporting to the Quality Officer, you will be responsible for supporting internal peer review investigations, clinical and patient-related investigations, quality assurance activities, and participation in projects aimed at improving service delivery and patient outcomes. We are seeking a strong BCBA clinician who is organized, empathic, collaborative, and experienced in assent-based ABA practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct clinical reviews of internal investigations related to workplace policy violations, clinical concerns, workplace safety, and patient/parent concerns, as well as Peer Review matters, under the guidance of the Quality Officer.
  • Conduct comprehensive and unbiased investigations, including background clinical research and investigative interviews related to clinical implementation.
  • Gather, organize, and analyze clinical information to support the creation of well-drafted investigative reports.
  • Collaborate with Teammate Experience Advisors to develop professional and detailed investigation records and reports related to clinical matters for submission to the relevant departments.
  • Evaluate the quality, effectiveness, and compliance of assent-based ABA practices.
  • Assist in data entry and data analysis for various quality initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required.
  • 2-3 years of experience as a BCBA
  • Proven experience in assent-based ABA practices.
  • Excellent organizational and investigative skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Empathetic and patient-focused approach.
