Job description

SRG, the leader in the Life Sciences human capital industry, is looking for a full-time, contract Communications and Publications Coordinator to join our client's pharmaceutical team in New Haven, CT. This position is part of the Medical Affairs Team and responsible for overseeing all aspects of scientific publications management. *This is a remote position.

MUST HAVES:

  • BA/BS degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical communications industry.
  • Prior experience managing Medical Review Committee (MRC) operations.
  • Proficiency with Veeva Vault MedComms required.
  • Prior experience with publications management software preferred.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Medical Review Committee (MRC) Management
  • Scientific Publications Management
  • Ensure submission quality and compliance with company and regulatory guidelines before materials are circulated for review.
  • Manage MRC meeting logistics, including agenda planning, calendar coordination, facilitation of discussions, and documentation of outcomes.
  • Coordinate the development, review, and approval of manuscripts, abstracts, and posters, ensuring compliance with industry and company standards.
  • Maintain publication databases and assist in reporting, author coordination, and bibliography management.
  • Support medical communication agency contracting, budget tracking, and compliance-related activities.
