DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role

We are looking for a Team leader for the France credit team who will be responsible for supervising the credit team (3 credit controllers) and assisting the France Credit Manager.

He/she will be responsible for monitoring customer balances, reducing overdues, monitoring credit limits, optimizing financing capabilities with the factor.

The customer portfolio Is roughly of 1500 active accounts, (90%-10% France vs International). The span Is large, with 85% of small accounts, 15% large ones.

He/she will work closely with the Credit Manager France, interact internally with sales representatives, operations teams, as well as externally with our insurers, broker, and factor.

Responsibilities:

The Team Leader will:

  • Manage the Boulogne/Lyon/Montpellier team; Travel will be required;
  • Supervise performance indicators;
  • Monitore customer overdues with customers and Internally, with sales, assistants, adv team;
  • Credit Insurance supervision;
  • Follow-up on collections & bad debt;
  • Dispute resolution management;
  • Assist the credit manager with the various projects involving the credit department


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you

Essential skills and experience:

  • Proven experience as a manager, with remote teams.
  • You have experience in motivating teams, ensuring productivity and alignment with company goals.
  • Proven experience In Credit Management
  • Proven experience In Credit Insurance.
  • French native, good English (both written & spoken)
  • You know how to navigate in an organization and federate stakeholders to move your projects forward
  • Team player: you enjoy working with people at any level in the organization,
  • You will be required to meet our partners in order to resolve certain complicated situations. You will be able to put forward proposals and keep a cool head.


Preferred skills and experience:

  • Factoring Is a plus.
  • Dispute resolution.
  • You know how to prioritise your actions, and ideally you have already assisted a Credit Manager.
  • Project management: you are a top of the league Project Manager, knowing how to frame, drive, and deliver a demanding and multiple team’s project
