What You'll Do
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Software Development Engineer in Test to join our development team and design/implement/test/automate integrations between enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and eCommerce platforms for our tax compliance solutions.
You will be a working in a fully remote position.
Responsibilities
What Your Responsibilities Will Be
- You will Conduct automated & manual testing of ERP-eCommerce integrations.
- You will Improve automation frameworks and drive system-level automation.
- You will Oversee the testing strategy and advocate for complete code coverage.
- You will Work with developers to manage defects, tech debt, and improvements.
- you will Provide usability and functionality feedback.
You will report to - Manager Engineering
What You'll Need to be Successful
- Bachelor/master's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 5+ years of full stack experience in software development, and testing.
- Experience with Object-oriented programming languages
- Experience with ERP and eCommerce system architectures, APIs, data models, and authentication mechanisms.
- Good experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and other data interchange formats.
- Familiarity with authentication protocols like OAuth and token-based authentication.
- Experience working in an Agile team with hands on with TDD, BDD
- Knowledge of building CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working on AWS Cloud and DevOps (Terraform, Docker, ECS) would be beneficial.
- Knowledge of software QA methodologies and tools
- Experience with writing concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
- Experience with load or security testing.
- Experience delivering high-quality software projects.
- Improve frameworks rather than just using them.
- Start taking ownership of testing strategy and help in system-level automation.
