Position Summary
As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will design, implement, support, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions for our organization's applications and services. You will ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our systems through operational activities that align with industry best practices.
Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and support the Azure cloud computing platform; configure, monitor and maintain Azure services including virtual machines, AKS, Managed SQL Instances, and Logic Apps.Implement and support cloud network and security services including Azure Firewall, Network Security Groups, Azure Private Networking, DNS, Application Gateway, and Azure Front Door.Contribute to disaster recovery planning and ensure environment backups complete successfully.Administer and support M365 collaboration and productivity tools including Exchange, Teams, Teams Telephony, SharePoint, and OneDrive.Configure and support Cisco network hardware, Microsoft’s Power Platform, and email APIs such as SendGrid.Respond to security alerts to eradicate threats within the environment; investigate and respond to email phishing alert reports and quarantine release requests.Remediate vulnerability findings and continuously evaluate security posture against best practices.Onboard and offboard user accounts and application authentication using EntraID, performing regular access audits.Lead and contribute to various infrastructure improvement projects and initiatives.Provision new environments after performing the appropriate research and due diligence required to ensure compliance with security, performance, and governance standards.Monitor infrastructure services to identify and resolve issues, outages, and poor performance.Participate in on-call rotation and perform off-hours support and maintenance as required.Contribute to and maintain technical and procedural documentation and runbooks and system architectural diagrams.Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure our infrastructure remains up to date.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum 5 years' experience in Information Technology roles.Proven experience in Azure cloud infrastructure management.Proven experience configuring and administering M365 collaboration tools, particularly Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint.Advanced knowledge of security and network protocols.Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.Experience with automation and scripting, particularly PowerShell.Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, CCNA) are a plus.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload effectively while working independently.JSSI is an equal opportunity employer.
