Business Process Analyst
Remote with occasional travel

Overview: Client is seeking an experienced Business Process Analyst who is available immediately to support Intelligent Automation team in improving core processes across the organization. This role is critical to driving process excellence and operational transformation through Lean Six Sigma methodologies and data-driven approaches. The ideal candidates will be self-starters with strong analytical, facilitation, and collaboration skills. The expected duration is 6+ months with the potential to transition into a full-time role. Candidates must be available to start immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate Value Stream Mapping (VSM): Lead workshops to map current and future state processes, identify inefficiencies, and define improvement initiatives.
Apply Lean Six Sigma Expertise: Use Lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies (Green/Black Belt certification required) to eliminate waste, reduce variation, and drive process optimization.
Analyze Data and Metrics: Utilize data to identify pain points, prioritize improvements, and measure the impact of process changes.
Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with stakeholders, automation developers, and operational leaders to align solutions with business goals.
Document and Report: Prepare clear documentation, process maps, and reports to communicate findings, recommendations, and progress to leadership.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical and Methodological Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification required).
- Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or similar Agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, Miro).
- Competence in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
- Knowledge of process mining tools (e.g., Celonis, UiPath Process Mining) is a plus.
- Experience integrating automation (RPA) and AI into process improvements.
Analytical Skills:
- Exceptional ability to analyze complex processes and workflows.
- Data-driven mindset for assessing metrics, identifying trends, and recommending improvements.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent facilitation and workshop leadership abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Effective problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in process improvement, Lean Six Sigma, or related fields.
- Experience working in tech-enabled services, healthcare, or similar industries.
- Proven track record in operational transformation or business process reengineering projects.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Advanced degrees (MBA, MS) or certifications in operations or process improvement are a bonus.

Travel Requirements:

Flexible work-from-home arrangement with occasional travel to Providence, RI (approximately 2-3 days every 2-3 weeks).
