What we do

Hi, we are Vodeno. We are innovators in the Banking-as-a-Service space. Our technology is cloud-native, and our teams work in the cloud like fish in water. Supported by a leading global equity firm and the ecosystem of nearly 90 partners, our Platform opens new opportunities for businesses across Europe to integrate financial products and services into their solutions.

Based on financial sector know-how and expertise in cloud technology, we provide a set-up of customer-facing and daily banking services which include: digital onboarding, accounts, cards, payments, and lending with a white-label mobile app channel access.

We are defined by the following values:
  • Client at the centre - we deliver value to our clients
  • Curiosity - we want to know more!
  • Accountability - we deliver on our promises
  • Collaboration - we can achieve more with others

We are currently looking for a  QA Lead ready to join our adventure.

What you will be doing
  • Designing and updating testing strategies and plans in line with business needs, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
  • Defining and improving testing standards and processes (including functional testing, non-functional testing, automation, and security testing)
  • Managing the Testing Team. Recruiting, training, and developing team members (QA/Test
  • Engineers) while fostering a culture of collaboration and responsibility
  • Ensuring efficient organization of work through the selection of methodologies (e.g., Agile/Scrum) and tools, task delegation, and progress monitoring
  • Participating in architecture reviews, business requirements analysis, and technical specifications to ensure effective testing at every stage of software development
  • Continuous monitoring of product quality, reporting key quality metrics (KPIs), and ensuring adequate test coverage
  • Proactively identifying and analyzing defect trends and recommending corrective actions and improvements
  • Initiating and implementing automation initiatives, optimizing testing tools (CI/CD, test management systems), and refining QA processes
Skills you should have
  • Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in software testing, including at least 2–3 years in a leadership role such as QA Manager or Head of Testing
  • Experience in planning and executing comprehensive testing strategies: managing the full testing cycle from requirements analysis through functional and regression testing to performance and security testing
  • Ability to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and Agile/Scrum-based projects
  • Proven experience in recruiting and developing employees, managing distributed teams (on-site, nearshore, offshore), and ensuring high standards within QA teams
  • Proficiency in using test management tools: JIRA, Zephyr, TestRail, or other dedicated platforms for test management and defect reporting
  • Hands-on experience in test automation (Selenium, Cypress, Robot Framework, Postman/Newman for API testing, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of security testing methods (pen-testing, vulnerability scanners) and performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, Locust)
  • Understanding of CI/CD principles, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Familiarity with industry standards and testing methodologies such as ISTQB, and TMMi
  • Experience in implementing compliance with security standards like ISO 27001, DORA, or PCI DSS in the context of testing is a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, from development teams to senior management
  • Business maturity in decision-making – balancing business needs with product quality
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills – presenting test results and risks to various stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting test results, accurately classifying defects, and prioritizing fixes
Language Requirements
English: Advanced proficiency in both spoken and written English (C1/C2 level) is required due to the international work environment and documentation being in English.
Polish/Other Languages: A good command of Polish is needed (as the company operates in the Polish market and follows local regulations). Additional European languages are a plus, but English remains the primary language for daily work.
