Description

We are looking for a driven, creative Website & Content Specialist to join our quickly growing Digital Marketing product team. In this key role, the candidate will be responsible for supporting both our website and content marketing products, with the primary focus being on website creation. This role will work directly with AgencyBloc clients to gather requirements, build, modify, and launch agency websites, while providing significant design and content guidance and oversight. You will work with our 3rd party website platform to configure business websites for a semi-custom feel, and then work with clients on the launch process and ongoing support/updates.  

In addition, this role will assist the content marketing product team by helping to create new content, curate and edit content from external content providers, and ensure that content meets compliance requirements. This role therefore requires extensive experience in website design and creation, plus a strong command of content creation and editing. The role will report into our Product Director of Digital Marketing, and will include close collaboration with other members of the product and go-to-market teams. 


Requirements

Responsibilities: 

  • Client interviews to create and configure templated websites
  • Website content innovation and creation, within compliance standards
  • Website configuration and implementation
  • Technical troubleshooting & perform quality control assessments and run quality assurance reviews
  • Content editing for content we have purchased from outside authors
  • Original content creation for multiple insurance lines of business. This includes:

- Research from SMEs

- Creation of long-form and short-form content

- Social content creation

 Skills/Education/Experience:  

  • Excellent client interaction skills, ability to connect with clients and Ability to communicate ideas to clients in simple terms
  • Understand their needs and manage clients though an implementation process to a timely launch
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills, ability to track numerous projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • 2+ years of experience in:

- Website creation (WordPress, CMS, Drupal, Duda, or similar skills required)

- Imagery sourcing and selection & asset management

- Basic knowledge of graphic design and website design skills to enable setup of page layouts, graphics, and banner ads, etc.

- Content design & layout

- Original content creation (social, blog, website)

- Content editing

  • Legal and regulatory approval experience a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with colleagues, cross-functional teams, customers, and partners. Team player!  
  • Self-driven, entrepreneurial minded builder - can function independently while also bravely asking for feedback and guidance
  • Curious & creative thinker, quick learner, meticulous attention to visual detail
  • Experience with content writing and creative collateral
  • Experience in the life & health insurance field a plus
