VicRoads RLS, founded in August 2022 by a consortium of Aware Super, Australian Retirement Trust, Macquarie Asset Management, and the Victorian State Government, operates under a long term concession deed issued by the State Government. We work collaboratively with the Victorian State Government to ensure we fulfil regulatory requirements, deliver State projects and safeguard customer data. The Victorian State Government retains sole responsibility for road access, infrastructure and safety

About the Team

Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Change, the Change Manager will collaborate with key stakeholders to support and drive the development and implementation of change plans across VicRoads RLS. This role will develop strategies which ensure that all projects that impact the way work is effectively managed to ensure seamless integration across operating models and business processes.

About the Opportunity

Working across multiple programs, this is the perfect opportunity for a technically focused change professional to make a significant impact at VicRoads during a period of rapid change. The role will be fast paced, working closely with our Program and Technology teams as well as Executive Leadership to develop and implement a change strategy for this multi-faceted program. Day-to-day you will be required to apply your advanced problem-solving skills, lead research and analysis into processes and training, and provide expert advice to your key stakeholders to drive implementation of change plans across the business.

The following skills and experience will set you apart for this position:

  • Exercises independent judgement in the planning of and scheduling of activities required to implement a reasonably complex change plan.
  • Demonstrates expert knowledge and understanding of the diverse range of responses to change and is flexible enough to work with a variety of individual needs and emotional stages.
  • Leads the development and delivery of change strategies and interventions to support business efficiencies and improvement.
  • Develops and manages changes to guidelines, standards, and work instructions to ensure quality and compliance outcomes are adhered to and benefits of planned product and service changes are achieved.
  • Apply well developed specialist skills to anticipate barriers to success and develop change and business readiness plans to minimise risks and impacts and maximise stakeholder and business commitment prior to implementation.
  • Effectively lead and manage the development and implementation of initiatives to improve employee and stakeholder engagement to achieve business outcomes.
  • Proven ability to identify, manage and address risks and issues, including change resistance, with the potential to impact the successful implementation of transformation or change initiative.
  • A valid driver’s licence.

Nice to have

  • Experience in a digital transformation environment
  • Experience working on projects involving Salesforce (SFDC) or other CRMs
  • Experience with digital products
  • Background in consulting or experience in consultative environments
