Responsibilities
Conduct industry, business, and collateral research.
Interact with customers in a concise and thorough manner to facilitate effective underwriting.
Underwrite complex transactions and perform comprehensive analysis of all finance, credit, legal, and business aspects of prospective customers.
Prepare thorough investment write-ups with recommendations that exhibit thoughtful and well-reasoned decisions.
Coordinate all documentation, lien perfection, and closing activities associated with approved transactions while exhibiting a strong understanding of potential risks and acceptable mitigants.
Mentor and train junior credit professionals in support of WCF’s credit guidelines.
Work with Legal and Operations to facilitate effective transaction funding, reporting, and customer service.
Perform customer collections and work out activities, as necessary.
Adhere to established WCF policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Minimum 15 years of prior bank or finance company experience.
Self-starter with ability to manage multiple credit underwritings and documentation closings under time constraints.
Attention to detail with demonstrated ability to accurately analyze financial information and make well-reasoned business decisions.
Ability to accurately communicate results of credit analysis in a complete and concise manner, both written and verbal.
In depth knowledge of loan and lease documentation and lien perfection. Ability to effectively negotiate documentation issues with customers and outside counsel.
Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills necessary to work with business people at all levels.
Attention to detail, strong work ethic, and willing to take initiative.
Skilled at conducting business research.
Proficient using Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, TValue, and SuperTrump.
Bachelor’s degree required, course of study to include substantial exposure to finance, accounting and economics.
Masters of Business Administration preferred.

Compensation
The estimated salary range for this role is $175,000-$225,000 along with eligibility to earn short-term and long-term incentive compensation. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience.
