Title: Senior Regional Sales Manager Foods, Albertsons Central Mountain

JOB PURPOSE


The primary purpose of the Senior Regional Sales Manager (RSM) position is to develop, articulate and deliver on strategic market development business plans, aligned with Unilever and customer growth and financial objectives. This role covers Albertsons Central Mountain region including Inter Mountain, Phoenix, Denver, United, and Dallas.  The RSM works with external sales team (Advantage Solutions) in concert with ASM’s Business Development Managers and sales force to accomplish these business objectives.  The RSM develops sustained business relationships with retail accounts and brokers to maximize profitable sales. They hold the customer, the broker, and the internal team accountable to executing the plan, tracking key activities such as promotional activity, competitive threats, and any identifying and solving critical business tactics.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

  • Manage and coordinate Unilever resources to maximize effectiveness on assigned market performance to include Trade Marketing, Category Management, Consumer Insight, Supply Chain and Shopper Marketing.
  • Manage and coordinate ASM resources to maximize effectiveness on assigned market objectives, Account Executives, Marketing, Retail Group, Administrators, and Broker senior management.  Guide ASM Partners on delivering spending efficiencies (ROI), strategies to managing spend within each Region-no overspend, and AMPS/Evergreen Plan reconciliation as well as ensure all resources are available to the ASM Partners.
  • Achieve assigned targets, including volume, spend, turnover, profitability, share and appropriate KPI’s as applicable.
  • Prioritize tasks to ensure time is allocated appropriately between strategy, planning and analysis, customer visits, retail, and ASM training and development.
  • Drive trade investment efficiencies while ensuring corporate goals are delivered, broker investment is maximized, and customer strategies are met

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree is required with 6+ years of Customer Management/Broker Management experience. Experience managing 3rd parties, Retail Store operations, HQ. Sales Experience, and Team Leadership Skills 
  • Understanding of Albertsons or Central/Southern region is a plus 
  • Attention to detail, providing accurate and timely information to the customer and internally
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve with a bias for action
  • Must be able to manage through 3rd parties and delegate responsibly 
  • Business Planning and Implementation 
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, coordinating multiple stakeholders needs to achieve executional excellence

Pay: The pay range for this position is $96,000 to $143,900. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
