Job Title: Project Manager – FM Capital Projects

Location: Flexible/Remote - working across Kent, Sussex, Hampshire and the IoW

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 37 hours per week

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to lead and deliver a diverse portfolio of capital projects across Kent, Sussex, Hampshire and the IoW. The successful candidate will have strong project management expertise, commercial and financial acumen and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

This role requires close collaboration with suppliers' project teams and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be confident in scoping work, preparing specifications, and acting in a Quantity Surveyor (QS) capacity to review quotes and proposals to ensure value for money and sound contract agreements.

  • Lead the full lifecycle of capital projects, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams, influencing outcomes to achieve project success.
  • Identify and manage project risks, ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including CDM requirements.
  • Track project progress, prepare detailed reports for senior management, and maintain accurate project documentation.
     

About You

  • At least 5 years of experience managing capital projects in the Facilities Management, Construction, or related industries.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects of varying size and complexity.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience in procurement and contract negotiation.
  • Demonstrated experience in work scoping, cost analysis, and acting in a QS capacity.
  • Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations, including CDM requirements.
  • Professional project management certifications (PRINCE2, PMP, or APM).

Package

This role will be full time Monday to Friday with a flexible approach to working between our regional offices and home. We are offering a salary circa £55,000 per annum depending on skills and experience as well as other benefits including:
