Job description

As Vimeo continues to grow, our partner ecosystem of integrations with the largest B2B SaaS, marketing, social and other technology platforms.  We are hiring an experienced Business Development Lead to be a key member of the Business Development team. This individual will help identify, source, negotiate and operationalize strategic partnerships across the Vimeo ecosystem, in order to drive engagement, and increase upload minutes to Vimeo. 

What You’ll do

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and high-value partnerships through market research, networking and strategic outreach that drive engagement and increase usage to Vimeo. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to drive growth across Vimeo’s partner ecosystem. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and engineering, to ensure continuous internal alignment. 
  • Monitor and evaluate performance metrics to assess success across Vimeo business development and partnership efforts and activities. 
  • Collaborate with marketing & operational leads on GTM plans and enablement for new partnerships.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to continuously improve upon existing operations and procedures
  • Provide regular and continuous updates to Vimeo leadership ongoing efforts across pipeline, performance metrics and/or any roadblocks that may arise. 
  • Develop and present regular reporting on pipeline, performance and business plans. 
  • Represent Vimeo at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities. 

Skills you should possess:

  • 5+ years in Business Development, Sales, or Marketing, in the technology space, preferably with SaaS business models. 
  • Have strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills. 
  • Be a highly motivated self-starter with a bias towards action that operates with a sense of urgency and is results oriented. 
  • Be a collaborative team player, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities. 
  • Have the ability to identify, prioritize and escalate any issues or roadblocks appropriately. 
  • Have experience in working cross functionally with product and engineering teams to achieve set business goals. 
  • Have experience in working with key stakeholders both internally and externally, along with strong client management skills. 

Base Salary Range:

  • NYC Metro, Bay Area, Seattle, & Los Angeles:    $137,000 - $188,000
  • All other US cities outside above metro areas:   $123,300 - $169,200
