Job description

StreamElements provides production, monetization, audience engagement, and influencer marketing tools and services for livestreams and videos on demand. Our tools power over 1.8 million digital content creators. StreamElements also works with brands across all industries who want to sponsor content creators, providing them with performance marketing campaigns at scale.

We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer that is interested in being a part of a strong and dedicated development team.

What Your Day Will Look Like:

  • Writing and implementing, clean, scalable code, and troubleshooting and debugging code someone else wrote (yours is great, we know!)
  • Researching and designing new services, features, and applications.
  • Verifying and deploying software systems, in production.
  • Evaluating user feedback, and recommending (and executing) improvements.
  • Creating technical documents and mentoring other developers.
  • Gaming/Twitch/YouTube on the side? We love that

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of Client-side hands-on coding experience
  • Strong experience in React (must)
  • Proven track record working on high-scale frontend applications
  • Experience with TypeScript
  • Familiarity with frontend performance optimization techniques
  • Experience with state management solutions (Redux, React Query, etc.)
  • Experience with component libraries and design systems
  • Hands-on experience with Figma - a plus
  • Experience with NextJS - a plus
  • Familiarity with observability tools (Sentry) for frontend monitoring - a plus
  • Experience with backend technologies like Node.js and SQL - a plus

Remote First:

  • We've been remote from the start (with a gathering space in Tel Aviv) and offer stipends for home office setup while making sure you have all of the tech you need to collaborate with your colleagues.

  • You are expected to manage your own time throughout the day, and show flexibility when communicating with people in other timezones.

Our Short Interview Process:

  • Once you have submitted your application, a recruiter will review it and will reach out to schedule an introductory call to learn more about you and for you to learn more about us.
  • A manager interview will then be scheduled to dive deeper into your skill set and experience - making sure there is strong alignment early in the process.
  • 2-3 interviews will follow, that includes a technical interview and coding assignment, it isn’t too hard but we have high expectations on quality of deliverables.
  • Once these interviews are wrapped up, we move to references and then an offer
