We are seeking an Electronic or Computer Engineer with a passion for software testing and an interest in the automotive/agriculture sector. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, automating, and validating embedded software tests cases, with a focus on hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and vehicle testing. The work will be organized following the Agile SAFe framework. The role also includes field validation of specific machine features and collaboration with global teams located in different international development sites on large-scale projects. The position is considered on-site. However, remote working is allowed during periods when on-site or field presence is not required, for up to 50% of the time (2 days per week).

 

Your Impact 

  • Test Case Creation: Develop detailed test cases in our ALM platform for the validation of embedded systems, based on pre-existing requirements, which may need to be discussed, adapted, or modified in collaboration with system engineers.
  • Test Automation: Implement tests in Python to ensure operational efficiency. Execution and Analysis: Perform test execution on HIL benches, analyze results, and address potential issues.
  • Vehicle Testing: Execute tests directly on vehicles, collecting data and reporting results to the validation and development teams for further analysis and corrective actions.
  • Field Validation: Test specific machine features directly in the field, ensuring proper functionality under real operating conditions, with the support of specialized engineering teams.
  • Simulink Model Integration: Validate the correct interaction between the tested software and Simulink models.
  • Global Collaboration: Coordinate with development teams located in various international sites to contribute to global projects, ensuring effective communication and knowledge sharing. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with software, hardware, and simulation teams following Agile SAFe principles.

 

Your experiences and Qualifications 

  • Complete Bachelor/Master degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Python programming. Knowledge of HIL testing systems and Simulink modeling.
  • Familiarity with development environments and ALM platforms.
  • Strong understanding of CAN bus systems and automotive protocols.
  • Fluency in English language is required (Written / Spoken / Person integrated in a global group)
