This is a remote position.

Role Name: Appointment Setter

Schedule:

  • 40 hours per week, 9am to 6pm Sydney time, M-F

Client Timezone: AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time)

Job Description

As an Appointment Setter, you’ll play a crucial role in connecting businesses with transformative training opportunities. You’ll be the first point of contact for decision-makers across various industries, introducing them to valuable government incentives and training programs that can significantly impact their bottom line. This position offers a unique blend of B2B communication, research, and relationship-building skills. You’ll work with a diverse range of clients, from logistics companies to hospitality groups, helping them understand how our client’s services can drive their business forward. Responsibilities
  • Proactively reach out to decision-makers in target industries such as transport, logistics, hospitality, and retail to set up qualified appointments
  • Conduct in-depth research on prospective companies, understanding their potential needs and challenges before making contact
  • Articulate the value proposition of government-funded workplace traineeships, including financial benefits and efficiency improvements
  • Qualify leads by gathering essential information about potential clients, ensuring a good fit for our services
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions in our CRM system
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to refine lead qualification processes and improve conversion rates
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and government incentives related to workplace training
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of call scripts and email templates to maximize engagement
  • Achieve and exceed weekly targets of 15-20 qualified appointments
  • Participate in regular team meetings to share insights, best practices, and market feedback


Requirements
  • Proven experience in B2B appointment setting or a similar role, preferably in the education or professional services sector
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage C-level executives and HR professionals
  • Strong research skills and the ability to quickly understand and articulate complex value propositions
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and other relevant software
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed performance targets in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Resilience and the ability to handle objections professionally
  • A keen interest in workforce development and the Australian business landscape
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field preferred but not required
  • Flexibility to occasionally work outside standard business hours to reach decision-makers
