Reporting, Data & Analytics Supervisor

Location: Bogotá
work modality: ​Remote (Work from Home)

The Data, Reporting & Metrics Supervisor executes the design and build of automated HR information reporting solutions. He/She will be involved in creation and maintenance of ongoing solutions. This position is responsible for identifying and creating data analysis approach and methodology, technical requirements, designing, coding, testing and ensuring they are delivered on time. He/She will participate in identification of data structure design, sourcing and testing for technology solutions initiatives to meet business requirements and ensure compliance. He/She creates work plans and collaborates with business units to support emerging data analytics and related technology solutions. This position is responsible for decisions affecting the success of assigned projects (i.e., results, deadlines, and cost constraints). The Data, Reporting & Metrics Supervisor provides coaching, training and subject matter expertise to other team members for development, maintenance and support on HR Systems reporting solutions. He/She contributes to improve visibility and align data/information views to better manage business processes and may supervise others in the department.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develops analytical reports and represents large, complex sets of data and associated solutions to support business objectives
  • Leverages analytics and visualization tools to design and present information to drive fact-based decision making
  • Reviews visualizations for data accuracy and integrity to meet business standards
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge of statistical analyses, sampling and tests; demonstrates the ability to identify outliers in data sets; troubleshoots existing statistical models
  • Executes work plans from beginning to end to ensure success at all project stages (i.e., requirement definitions and scope, estimate schedule, design, build and deployment)
  • Reviews requirement documents with stakeholders to clarify understanding and agreement on project direction, timelines and functionality throughout the project
  • Provides documentation of coding and content to satisfy business and system requirements and reviews to meet compliance requirements
  • Supports cross-functional collaboration to drive effective solution designs that comply with current and newly defined processes
  • Implements solutions that meet current and anticipate future business needs to align with enterprise strategic direction
  • Creates innovative process improvements (i.e., enhancements, procedure changes and staff cross-training) to reduce work for support and maintenance of existing systems
  • Provides on-going feedback and support to improve performance

Knowledge and Skills

  • Demonstrates basic knowledge of database design principles and repositories
  • Demonstrates knowledge of Power BI
  • Demonstrates knowledge of Power Apps and/or Power Automate
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Translates and implements basic development project requirements to assist with developing physical data structures and works with supervision on one or more data models of moderate to high complexity or independently on a single data model of low to moderate complexity
  • Supports Project Implementation; identifies areas of risk and collaborates with the Project Manager for solutions
  • Generates and reviews reports to ensure accuracy and completeness; identifies issues with report generation (e.g., missing variables, incorrect data, etc.)
  • Writes complex SQL/Python queries or stored procedures and report builders
  • Demonstrates ability to create presentations for executive leadership using HR data analysis and statistics
  • Advanced Conversational English level - Required
  • Possesses knowledge/experience in Workday HR system - Preferred
