IMPORTANT NOTE: Candidates who apply to the CIO track will rotate through two of the following three rotations. Candidates will share their top two rotation preferences. Cross track assignments are not an option within the Apprenticeship program (i.e. candidates will only move through rotations within their assigned track – CIO, Information Security or Engineering).
Rotation: CIO Digital Integration (6-month rotation)
Role Summary/Purpose:
The CIO Digital Integration role supports the Vista Agile Release Train. The person in this role will have Process and Technical responsibility for the Vista Digital Channel (Synchrony’s Account Mgmt website), functioning as a business and technology liaison, managing and socializing release plans, and advocating and evangelizing Agile and Scrum Principles.
Essential Responsibilities:
Coordinate with micro front end (MFE) teams to integrate digital experiences into the Synchrony Account Manager (Vista)
Draft integration and testing timelines with respective teams, assist in defect triage, and production release prep
Assist in feature requirement gathering and development for build team
Ad hoc tasks to support our agile teams
Qualifications/ Requirements:
Ability to, or desire to learn how to, manage issues, releases, sprints, boards, etc. in Atlassian JIRA
Foundational knowledge of agile development and its advantages
Demonstrated ability to learn new software tools quickly and implement learnings into tangible output (ie, learn how to use macros in confluence and then implement them in meaningful, valuable ways).

Rotation: UAT Tester (6-month rotation)
Role Summary/Purpose:
UAT Tester performs functionality testing for Workstation, ACM (Advanced Case Management), IVR (Interactive Voice Response), Digital apps and other Business Applications. They are required to test all new functions; client upgrades and production fixes, within strict project timelines.
Essential Responsibilities:
Performing quality tests on Workstation, ACM (Advanced Case Management), IVR (Interactive Voice Response), Digital Apps and other Business applications across Operations, Collections, Recovery, Consumer Banking and Commercial
Test the new functions and client upgrades based on business/client requirements
Defect management- Identify, report and retest defects in UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
Retest defects raised in Production once fixed.
Ensure 100% quality focus in all tests performed
Qualifications/ Requirements:
Hands-on experience on workstation
Working knowledge and experience of ACM (Advanced Case Management)
Problem solver with a positive attitude and ability to interact with global cross-functional teams. Excellent interpersonal, analytical, organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to make decisions based on quantitative analysis and creative thinking
Ability to handle sensitive issues with uncompromising integrity and confidentiality

Rotation: AI Analyst (6-month rotation)
Role Summary/Purpose:
This exciting position will be to work in the Artificial Intelligence team under the Innovation, Payments & AI and Emerging Technology team. The AI Business Analyst will be a contributing member of the AI team, working with the AI Team in helping ensure engagement excellence in AI capabilities across multiple business lines.
Essential Responsibilities:
Coordinate and facilitate requirements sessions, workouts, and discovery to understand end-to-end business and functional process and help determine suitability for Gen AI solutions.
Support and document AI use case definition, requirements, solution design, development standards as well as integration definitions for business applications
Review, gain understanding, and provide fit analysis for various AI solutions focused on GEN AI related technologies.
Help facilitate and support the adaption of Gen AI CoE best practices, standards, framework to other Synchrony Agile teams participating in Gen AI solution development and governance
Assist with preparation of Gen AI Use Case assessment for leadership review
Qualifications/ Requirements:
Self-motivated and passionate in the pursuit of knowledge and hands-on experience in emerging technology.
Possess personal and professional integrity.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills; highly motivated and demonstrate high level of initiative
Showing extra-curricular experiences in Artificial Intelligence or Analytics and a clear interest in the technology world.

Grade/Level: 07
The hourly rate range for this position is $24.00 - $33.50/hr USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience or skill level.
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
