Job description

The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.

Holman is currently recruiting for the position of Manager- Retail Compliance

Primary Tasks:

  • Investigate, Evaluate, and make recommendations to ensure that the Compliance Environment is managed to Holman standard.
  • Recommend and implement strategic changes to ensure a compliance minded operation.
  • Ensure that systems and forms used by Accounting, Aftersales, Sales, and F&I departments operate in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
  • Work to identify opportunities for greater efficiency and effectiveness in dealership processes as they relate to dealership systems and forms.
  • Actively follow legal and political changes impacting dealership systems and implement necessary changes to forms or processes.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the CRM, DMS, finance source portals, and associated systems, in each case as used by dealership personnel.
  • Respond to systems-related questions from the field to provide the proper guidance to dealership management and personnel.
  • Create and implement new forms and/or documentation as needed in response to regulatory, policy, or procedural changes.
  • Collaborate with Compliance Department to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services for internal customers.
  • Collaborate with Central Services as needed regarding industry related matters, policy revision, and F&I training and certification.
  • Perform periodic reviews based on the compliance review program in place.
  • Maintain F&I product pricing schedules and assist with the approval process for any product pricing changes.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of compliance-related training courses for Holman University and at dealerships.  Assist with hands-on employee training as needed.
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

Education and/or Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (e.g. JD) or certification (e.g. CPA) preferred.
  • Familiarity with the automotive industry, Sales and F&I operations, and the applicable state and federal laws.
  • Experienced and proficient with dealership systems and applications.
  • Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs

Relevant Work Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in a dealership compliance function required. Demonstrated success in leading change management initiatives required
  • 2+ years in team-leader role of increasing responsibility where quality and process improvement and employee development have been key activities.
  • Developing and implementing processes, methods, and tools to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Pay:

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $107,060.00 - $168,615.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay and bonus earnings.
