Job description

About NLX

NLX is a startup building a conversational AI technology platform that we believe will be part of a suite of technologies that will change the way the world does business and represents the crest of another wave of innovation akin to the advent of HTML, Web 2.0, the social web, and mobile computing. We are a remote-first team headquartered in NYC with team members across North America and Europe. We value excellence, authenticity, transparency, attention to detail, and collaboration.

We strive to create a team where people are comfortable iterating, asking for help, showing what they tried when they get stuck, and are able to help build their teammates up. We often get to do things that have never been done before and that means we have to be comfortable in the unfamiliar and are able to avoid getting stuck in the details or being too proud to ask for feedback before our code is perfect. We value transparency, communication, and community. We reward cooperation over competition.

NLX seeks a dynamic and detail-oriented marketing specialist who can support the company’s strategy to reach large global enterprises. To be successful, this person will become fluent in the conversational AI space, understanding the landscape of what enterprise customers are looking for, their pain points and how an industry-leading platform like NLX can solve them. This person will work closely with the product, partnerships and sales teams to build out collateral about NLX and support the company’s activations at industry events and conferences. The role reports to the VP of Communications and Marketing.

Company Values

  • Elevate the Customer. We are customer centric in the way we conduct our business and the way we build our product. Our goal is to elevate the customer experience of our customers as well as theirs. We should be obsessed with what the customer needs so that we can quickly build for them.
  • Choose simplicity. Things tend to get over-complicated. Take the time to step back and see the simpler solution.
  • Be Brave. If a decision needs to be made, make it. Ask questions, make mistakes, try something different. If you are curious about something, take the time to dig into it. If you have something you want to say, say it.
  • Keep it Open. Transparency is key and open communication is a great way to be transparent.
  • Build an Inclusive Space. We can do more when we do it together. Make each other feel welcome. Make yourself approachable. We expect diverse experiences and value individual input. We give each other the space to be included.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage NLX’s activations at conferences and events, including maintaining the team calendar and deliverables, coordinating prep calls, drafting content and working with the NLX PR team to ensure proper social promotion, among other tasks.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for NLX’s external marketing partners, ensuring required deliverables are sent on time, content meets NLX’s incredibly high standards, and participating executives are briefed on what to expect.
  • Produce marketing collateral that effectively communicates our key messages to target audiences, including but not limited to: email, presentations, remarks, blog posts and social content, among others.
  • Analyze and report on the efficacy of NLX’s marketing activations, working closely with teams across the business to define what success looks like and measure outcomes against that.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or other relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of experience working in B2B marketing, PR or communications or relevant fields.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Self-starter who is detail-oriented and unafraid to ask questions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with Hubspot or other CRM.
  • Design experience is a plus.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience working for a SaaS company is a plus, although not required.

Compensation:
The salary for this role ranges from $87,700 to $102,190 per year, based on experience, qualifications, and role level.

In addition to base salary, total compensation may include equity options and other benefits. Final offers will be determined based on geography/location, skills, experience, and internal equity.
