Key Responsibilities

Accurately transcribe audio recordings of depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings.
Maintain a high level of attention to detail while adhering to established style guides and producing verbatim transcripts.
Collaborate with our supportive in-office team as needed to ensure quality and compliance.

Required Skills

Proven experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription.
Exceptional listening skills and a keen eye for detail.
Strong adherence to deadlines and ability to follow client-specific style guides.
Excellent literacy skills, encompassing comprehension, spelling, and grammar.
Proficient typing skills, demonstrating both speed and accuracy.
Familiarity with legal terminology and the ability to process sensitive audio/text content.
Capability to work effectively in a remote collaborative environment.
Ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

Significant experience in legal transcription is required.
Court reporting students are also encouraged to apply.
Technical requirements include a high-speed internet connection, a computer or laptop, noise-canceling headphones, Windows 10, and relevant antivirus software.
