Overview
The Senior Director of Client Services (SDCS) will join a team of 100+ purpose-driven staff members in a friendly, focused, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. The National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) is the largest accredited leadership honor society in the United States, with over 800 chapters and more than 2 million members.
The SDCS will be instrumental in helping to develop and execute the NSLS’s strategic and tactical sales plan to support an aggressive growth trajectory. A proven leader with a strong interest in growing, developing, and coaching a sales and account management team, the SDCS thrives in an entrepreneurial environment while being self-disciplined in driving both top and bottom-line results. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Client Services.
Responsibilities
Develops and executes strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
Meets or exceeds sales goals and productivity targets, contributing to the company's annual growth.
Manages the Sales Budget.
Creates and communicate sales goals, keeping VP-level executives informed of progress.
Serves as liaison to other Senior Leaders, collaborating on interdepartmental initiatives.
Reports on factors affecting strategic account directions and tactical budgets.
Develops, and manages high-functioning and growth-oriented sales teams.
Leads a dedicated Program Development sales team towards achieving their goals.
Refines sales infrastructure and process management.
Designs and deploys an effective sales coverage model for existing markets.
Refines infrastructure and systems to support the sales function.
Defines sales processes that drive desired outcomes and identify areas for internal improvement.
Oversees strategic and operational direction of nationwide chapter/client success strategy, operations, initiatives, and budget for all client success verticals.
Hires, trains, and manages team leaders in providing coaching, guidance, and support towards their metric achievement.
Ensures the department achieves client retention, health, member invitation, member enrollment, and program experience metrics.
Partners closely with Marketing, Product, Tech, and Finance to align and develop new market penetration opportunities.
Builds and maintains strong relationships with academic and corporate customers, understanding their business objectives and needs.
Understands industry-specific trends and landscapes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
Higher Education experience is preferred but not required
A minimum of 10 years of Sales experience with experience managing long sales cycles
Experience in higher education sales or other comparable finite markets preferred
A minimum of 5 years of director or higher level experience, where positive results are clearly demonstrable
Extensive experience in both B2B and B2C sales
Proven expertise in growing, training, and managing sales and account management teams towards success
Proficient in G Suite, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and database applications
Proficient with HubSpot or similar CRM
