CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered remote which means it does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a CohnReznick office location. However, as a remote employee, you may be required to be present at a CohnReznick office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings.

YOUR ROLE.

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on AI/ML Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of our artificial intelligence and machine learning initiatives. This role will be instrumental in building our AI/ML platform from the ground up, with a specific focus on leveraging the Microsoft Azure AI ecosystem and OpenAI technologies.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Architect and implement end-to-end AI/ML solutions using Azure AI services, including Azure OpenAI Service, Azure Machine Learning, and Azure Cognitive Services
• Design and establish the foundational AI/ML platform infrastructure, including data pipelines, model training workflows, and deployment strategies
• Lead the technical vision for AI/ML initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, and implement AI/ML use cases that drive business value
• Develop and maintain MLOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, and model governance frameworks
• Mentor and guide technical teams in AI/ML best practices, architecture patterns, and implementation approaches
• Evaluate and integrate new AI technologies, keeping our platform at the forefront of innovation

YOUR EXPERIENCE.

The successful candidate will have:

• 12+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years focused on AI/ML systems.
• Deep expertise in the Microsoft Azure AI stack, including:
• Azure Machine Learning
• Azure OpenAI Service
• Azure Cognitive Services
• Azure Databricks
• Azure Synapse Analytics
• Proven experience in building and deploying large-scale ML models.
• Strong understanding of MLOps practices and tools.
• Experience with modern AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and ML libraries.
• Expertise in Python and software development best practices.
• Knowledge of distributed computing and big data technologies.
• Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field
• Experience with large language models and prompt engineering.
• Contribution to open-source AI/ML projects.
• Experience with AI governance and responsible AI practices.
• Track record of successful AI/ML platform implementations.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
