As a Lead Site Reliability Engineer you will be involved in all stages of the application delivery lifecycle from requirements, development, configuration and implementation in support of production environments.
What You Will Do
- Guide the strategic direction for the SRE practice within the organization
- Expert knowledge in design and implementation of metrics gathering and instrumentation
- Design, implement, and manage complex, high-impact projects across multiple disciplines and teams
- Define and enforce best practices for measuring the customer experience
- Guide and support the development of more junior engineers within the organization
- Perform code reviews to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Provide feedback on design documents from DevOps, SRE, and developers
- Demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence to foster healthy relationships between teams, both within and outside of engineering
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in designing, building, and operating large-scale applications
- At least 2 years of progressive leadership experience
- Expert understanding of AWS infrastructure components, including EKS, EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, and others
- Production experience with Kubernetes clusters. EKS and Istio service mesh experience preferred
- Experience supporting Java Spring Boot applications
- Production experience with observability suites and APM tooling such as DataDog, AppDynamics, New Relic, etc.
What Will Set You Apart
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience
- AWS, Kubernetes, or relevant certifications

Base Salary Range
$111,800.00 - $162,125.00
The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
