AAA Club Alliance is seeking an ambitious inbound Membership Retention Associate (remote) who has a customer focus to retain current members that have expressed a desire to cancel their membership by discussing the full array of AAA membership benefits. This position is part of our Membership Care Unit which is part of our dynamic Call Center Team!
This is a work from home position, candidates must live within one of these territories to be considered:

Work Schedule: 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. EST (Sunday off and one other day off during the week). Saturdays are required.

**Training Requirement: Training will take place virtually, Monday - Friday (9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. EST) for the first 5 weeks. Must be able to attend ALL training. Work schedule will begin after training is completed. **
What you will be doing:
Communicate the membership value and helps Members identify benefits that match their needs. Specifically, a specialist in this position:
Deploys deep product knowledge, problem solving, selling and customer service skills to differentiate AAA from its competitors and communicate the full value of the membership and AAA brand.
Provides courteous and professional counseling in responding to Member inquiries concerning membership benefits and services, including Financial Services, Driving School, Roadside Assistance, Travel Services, Insurance and other member services.
Operate automatic call distribution (ACD) telephone set and PC running Windows-based and Internet applications.
Accurately gather, document and respond to members’ needs using sound business judgment based upon club business rules and policies and match those needs to appropriate and relevant AAA products and services.
Contact members by phone or email upon non-renewal in an attempt to renew membership coverage.
Handles the more complex calls by defusing frustrated or upset callers and can tailor the conversation and membership benefits discussion to each individual caller

A starting base hourly rate for this position is $16.00 - $19.50. The base pay range shown is a guideline for compensation and ultimate salary offered will be based on factors such as geographic location and experience.

What we need from you:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
2 to 5 years of sales and customer service experience, with a preference for those with call center or inbound call experience.
A Motor Club License is required for selling and servicing AAA ACA Memberships. Candidates must pass a background screening, including federal and state fingerprinting, and obtain the necessary licensing within 60 days of hire. Costs will be reimbursed at time licensing is secured. Costs varies by State (up to $200).
Must be able to provide a work environment free from all disruptions and distractions. This includes a private area that prevents access to others during working hours, as well as prevents disruptions such as overly noisy pets or others within your home. Working remotely is not intended to serve as a substitute for child/dependent or adult/elder care.
Must be able to work overtime and/or on holidays as required by business needs.
Subject to any pre-approved PTO, in this position and regardless of your regularly scheduled workdays, you are expected to work the day after the following holidays: Christmas, New Years, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day and Thanksgiving.
Must be able to maintain a stable, secure, and hard-wired internet connection for the duration of their employment. Wi-Fi connections are not permitted for use in the role.
