The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Pre-Access, the Senior Director Pre-Access is responsible for leading all Pre-Access related functions. This includes administering, coordinating and reviewing the performance of their assigned team: Scheduling/Pre-registration/Insurance Verification and Authorization. They are responsible for performance and effectiveness of the department(s). The Senior Director-Pre Access will be responsible for identifying and implementing strategies to improve processes, promote operational efficiency enhance the patient experience and meet regulatory compliance guidelines. This requires active engagement and collaboration with operational, client leadership and associates. The Senior Director-Pre Access will work closely with the other Patient Access leadership and associates to align policies and processes across the entire organization. Travel may be required.
Essential Job Functions
- Ability to provide vision, leadership and operational oversight for Pre-Access across assigned clients.
- Responsible for centralizing and/or standardizing Pre-Access processes across the system while establishing positive, collaborative relationships with operational leaders at each client.
- Actively lead and/or participate in modernizing Insurance Authorization.
- Provide project management oversight to ensure best practices are implemented for assigned clients.
- Organize functions through establishing clear accountabilities, delegation of duties and appropriate departmentalization without creating silos
- Ensures associates are aware and compliant with all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, etc.
- Actively focus on activities that support employee engagement, including coaching & mentoring.

This position pays between:
$111,800- $139,750
