Building Automation & HVAC Technical Sales Territory Manager - Remote (Northeast U.S.)

We are looking for a Technical Sales Territory Manager located in the Northeast United States who is responsible for managing and driving building automation controls and HVAC Product sales through contractor and distributor channels. While this position is remote, the Technical Sales Territory Manager should be located near one of our branch locations and will travel up to 50% within the Northeast United States. Branch locations include:

As a Technical Sales Territory Manager, you will: 

Assume responsibility for annual growth targets

Develop strategies and business plans to grow account base and to meet or exceed corporate sales targets

Prospect and onboard new accounts

Maintain a funnel of new accounts in CRM tools

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers at all position levels through civic and professional meetings, sales meetings, workshops, joint sales calls, and trade shows

Support customers with training, technical support and project quotes

Manage the delivery of marketing materials and promotions

Monitor sales activity and conduct regular reviews with customers

Assist the Product Development team with new product roll outs including training, supporting documents, competitive analysis, test sights, promotions, and all other relevant activities

Create, maintain, and implement a Sales & Marketing Calendar of Activities to include but not limited to:

Training

Promotions

Website reviews

Communications (email blasts, webinars, LinkedIn posts, in person meetings, etc.)

New product launches

Customer meetings

Effective use of Marketing funds

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

You will make an impact with these qualifications:   

Basic Qualifications

High School Diploma or state-recognized GED

3+ years of experience with Building Automation and/or HVAC Products

3+ years of prior account management, new business development, or related customer-facing (such as project management) experience

Willing and available to travel 50% of the time

Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in the Siemens' Fleet vehicle program

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

5+ years of experience with Building Automation and/or HVAC Products

5+ years of experience selling within distributor and contractor verticals

3+ years of prior account management and new business development experience

The pay range for this position is $98,630 - $169,080 / year plus a 45% annual incentive plan. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
