We’re looking to recruit a Senior Platform Security Engineer to join our Cyber Security and Infrastructure team. The team manage our global services, including all our products across the business. They are responsible for Infrastructure, wide area network and security across both internal and external cloud based systems, monitoring networks, enforcing security policies, conducting vulnerability assessments, and implementing security measures.


This is a full time permanent role, offering a fully remote working arrangement with travel when required. This role falls within the scope of Tribal's on Call and Out of Hours Working policy.


Regular out of hours working may therefore be required to fulfil the requirements of the role, and this will be compensated in line with the policy.


The Role

You will tackle all security issues across Tribal platforms. This role involves working closely with various teams and third parties to ensure that a security-first mindset is implemented into every stage of the product and platform lifecycle. Responsibilities will include:


  • Identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities in the development process through threat modelling.
  • Conducting regular reviews to detect and fix security issues in the code.
  • Analysing code for security flaws both before and during runtime.
  • Provide security training, ensuring developers are knowledgeable about secure coding practices.
  • Identifying and assessing security risks associated with our platform and its components.
  • design and implement secure architecture solutions that align with best practices and Tribal’s security policies.
  • Working with cross-functional teams to investigate incidents, determine root causes, implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.


The skills you’ll need:

  • SecOps experience (Azure and AWS) along with experience in code development security.
  • ITIL Foundation/Intermediate Certification.
  • AZ-500 and AWS Certified Security Specialist.
  • Good understanding of SaaS delivery methods.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity standards and frameworks.


It would be great if you had:

  • Experience in Tools such as PowerBI, Grafana, Application Insights, Statuspage.io, SIEM, DAST, SAST, SCA, CSPM.
  • Experience of Securing public cloud technologies.
