As a construction project manager, you’ll oversee real estate construction projects to meet the operational needs of Progressive’s business units. You’ll manage every phase of a construction project, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating with contractors and vendors, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and meets quality standards. You’ll collaborate closely with various external and internal partners, such as transaction managers, designers, sourcing, facilities, and telecom. Typical projects include relocations, expansions, downsizes, new office build-out, and office reconfigurations. You’ll manage multiple assignments and projects in a fast-paced environment and effectively resolve conflicting priorities.

This is a remote position that also includes frequent overnight travel, including weekends. Frequency of travel is several times per month.

Must-have Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED equivalent and a minimum of five years project related experience
  • {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or related field and a minimum of two years project related experience

Preferred Skills

  • Strong working knowledge of the commercial construction industry and an ability to identify and react to market trends
  • Experience with construction scheduling, estimating, and value engineering
  • Demonstrated advanced project management skills
  • Experience with negotiations and complex problem solving
  • Experience with MS Project, Autodesk, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Compensation

  • $79,200 - $116,300/year depending on position level and experience
  • Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
