We are seeking an experienced Legal Operations Manager to play a critical role in optimizing workflows, managing processes, corporate legal technology solutions outside of CLM, formulating data analytics and metrics, and supporting the legal department’s strategic goals with other special projects as designed.
A successful candidate will have a strong understanding of legal operations, the legal technology stack, and combine technical acumen and analysis skills to proficiently manage and optimize all processes with a global corporate legal environment.
In this role, you will be reporting to the Senior Director of Legal operations while having the opportunity to also work alongside other Legal Operations team members who are curious people that are passionate about running legal like a business as well as driven by results.
Responsibilities
Help to embed and champion the utilization legal technology solutions for delivery of legal services with a focus on innovation and deepening the use of AI
Support with implementation and help to refine processes to improve workflow efficiency – documenting and recommending operational adjustments to enhance productivity as needed
Maintain existing Legal Technology tools (non-transactional related) and automated workflows
Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence for department leadership and executives as needed
Facilitate the onboarding, training, and integration of new staff members, ensuring they are equipped to meet departmental goals
Oversee special projects such as software upgrades and collaborate with IT to ensure proper functionality of department specific software, as needed
Coordinate department-wide activities such as all team calls and office hours
Requirements
Requires BS/ BA degree in a related field such as IT, Legal Studies, Business Administration, Computer Science
8+ years of increasing experience working in a Legal Organization with a focus on technology
Expertise with the Legal technology stack such as matter management tools, document management solutions, compliance tracking and reporting tools, eDiscovery, etc.)
Experience leveraging Power Automate and SharePoint to drive workflow automation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Vizio) as well as data analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
Experience embedding AI capabilities into the delivery of Legal Services
Prior experience designing and maintaining legal workflows in low-code, no code solutions
Prior experience training Legal professionals on new processes and tools
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, relationship building, presentation and communication skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in system administrative roles
Strong knowledge of document management systems, scheduling tools, project management software and Open AI
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges and implement proactive solutions
Compensation:
This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.
$100,500.00 - $186,500.00Benefits:
