Vice President, Regional and Specialized Accounts– Job Description
The Vice President, Regional and Specialized Accounts manages smaller, regional accounts as well as specialized accounts with Allied and Post Acute talent needs. Accounts are segmented geographically and have an annual spend of $5M or under. This role focuses on delivering exceptional, efficient service for all clients within the Leader’s portfolio of accounts, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
• Lead successful delivery of services that meet or exceed the financial (P&L) targets, client retention, successful renewals, and expansion of wallet share that grow select clients into Strategic Accounts.
• Oversee and drive performance of Regional and Specialized Account teams that serve as the primary contact for smaller clients, managing order fulfillment and ensuring smooth onboarding and invoicing experience.
• Build strong relationships with select key client stakeholders, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
• Collaborate with geographically or specialty aligned Operational Leaders and Account Managers to address day-to-day challenges and maintain smooth operations.
• Drive innovation and efficiency to ensure operations run optimally, maximizing profits for MSG.
• Monitor and report on account performance, providing insights to clients and internal leadership.
• Drive and achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to Client Retention Rate, Net Promoter Score (NPS), Fill Rate, Infill Rate, Time to fill, Present to Place Ratios, Aging Reports, and Profitability (P/L).
• Identify opportunities to expand client programs within the region or specialty and drive the growth of accounts in size and impact.
• Ensure compliance with client-specific policies and staffing requirements.
• Respond to escalations promptly, resolving issues to maintain client trust and satisfaction.
• Maintain a deep understanding of regional market trends to provide clients with strategic recommendations.
• Select, develop, and coach internal teams aligned with Regional and Specialized Accounts to foster a high-performance culture.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of experience required.
• 10+ years of proven client-facing experience in healthcare staffing.
• 5+ years of leading teams to meet and exceed operational performance goals.
• Proven track record of managing clients and strategic relationships.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills be able to make decisions concerning goals and be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to create solutions where policies/procedures may not exist.
• Self-motivated, pro-active, and results-oriented professional with an ability to work with minimum direction.
• Ability to manage influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building.
• Deep understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Close attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to manage a large and increasing workload.
• Proficient in MS Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel as needed.
