About the Role

Axuall is seeking an accomplished, energetic and highly motivated Senior Product Manager to drive the product life cycle for Axuall’s solution and enhance the product value for all stakeholders.  This means listening to clients, working with vendors, understanding the market and our competition, setting the product vision, driving innovation, building roadmaps, writing detailed requirements and executing on the product betas and launches.

The Senior Product Manager will collaborate closely with our engineering, operations, sales and marketing team.  The ideal candidate will be highly detail oriented; a self-starter, diligently organized, excellent communication skills, and has a passion for excellence and values education, integrity, innovation, and success. 

 

What You’ll Do

Reporting directly to the CPO, this role will focus specifically on Axuall’s core data and integration solutions.  This means acquiring data through new sources, managing and monitoring thousands of connections, cost modeling and data delivery.  We are looking for people who feel comfortable taking on bold initiatives, who are both highly accountable and self-empowered.   Some of the specific functions and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Deeply understand our customers and their data needs
  • Develop and own key parts of our data and integration product strategy and roadmap including cost modeling, competitive sourcing, and contingency planning. 
  • Drive customer-focused decisions, clear prioritization, and efficient execution in the face of ambiguity and complexity
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with leadership, go-to-market teams, and other key stakeholders across the company
  • Build processes that will scale as our team and company grow
  • Work with current issuers and collaborate with Axuall’s legal team to extend and enhance data contracts
  • Identify, partner with, and onboard issuers not on Axuall’s network
  • Identify partnership opportunities with additional data providers and potential strategic partners

 

Qualifications 

Candidates for the Senior Product Manager, Integrations must demonstrate extensive hands-on experience and knowledge of industry best practices in the functions listed above.  Specific requirements include:

  • You have 4+ years of experience as a product manager at a SaaS-based data company 
  • You have 2+ years of experience in data integration and automation
  • Experience negotiating data integration and/or sourcing agreements with third parties a plus
  • You have a strong technical background and excel at analytical thinking
  • An ability to analyze and find issues or bugs and work with the operations team to resolve them
  • You are an excellent written and verbal communicator
  • You have a proven track record of taking ownership, taking initiative, and delivering results
  • Experience with technical integration technologies such as API/Webhook operations, SDK/APK concepts, as well as other web and database technology.
  • Knowledge of API platforms and other integrations on a large scale.
