The Position
The Billing Analyst will be responsible for the uploadling of customer invoices into various third party portals. In performing his/her duties, the Billing Analyst will need to be proficient at researching issues, and exhibit a degree of creativity and latitude to identify the appropriate course of action, including collaborating with other functions to achieve resolutions. Additional responsibilities include: internal teams with billing-related questions, and working on ad hoc and process improvement projects as necessary.
Essential Functions
· Daily processing of portal invoices
· Trouble-shoot / generate customer care cases to resolve portal billing billing requirements (i.e. new POs, update ERP system data, etc.)
· Research billing issues and determine appropriate course of action
· Exhibit professionalism in all customer interaction
· Perform other process improvement or billing-related ad hoc projects, as necessary
Qualifications
· One (1) to three (3) years’ experience in billing or equivalent role
· One (1) to three (3) years’ experience in portal billing preferred
· Strong proficiency in Excel
· Salesforce / Zuora experience a plus
· Basic understanding of accounting / billing concepts
· Strong research skills and attention to detail
· Extremely organized with strong data entry skills
· Customer service experience a plus
· High degree of professional integrity; really cares about getting the right answer
· Solid written and verbal communication skills
