This is a remote position.

Office hours are 9am til 5pm Gold Coast, Queensland time
The successful applicant would have some flexibility. However, the hours would be 5 hours per day, Monday to Thursday starting at 9am and working until 2pm each day

Job Description

As our Social Media Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping the online presence for a cutting-edge executive protection and security services company. This role offers a unique opportunity to blend creativity with strategic thinking in a high-stakes industry. You’ll craft compelling content that showcases our expertise in executive protection, travel risk management, and security services without compromising client confidentiality. Responsibilities
  • Create visually striking, branded content for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter that aligns with our professional image and industry expertise
  • Design eye-catching tile-based visuals incorporating our logo and relevant stock imagery related to executive protection and travel risk management
  • Craft engaging captions using AI-assisted tools, ensuring content is both informative and captivating while maintaining utmost discretion
  • Manage a consistent posting schedule across all social media platforms to maximize engagement and reach
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and interactions, maintaining a professional and timely dialogue with our audience
  • Produce and edit short video clips, including adding subtitles and branding elements, to create dynamic content that showcases our services
  • Utilize social media management tools to schedule posts and track performance metrics
  • Analyze social media analytics and prepare weekly reports on key performance indicators, providing insights for strategy refinement
  • Collaborate closely with the security team to ensure all content aligns with company values and maintains client confidentiality
  • Stay abreast of social media trends and best practices, adapting our strategy to leverage new opportunities in the digital landscape
Requirements
  • Proven track record in social media content creation and management, preferably in a B2B or professional services environment
  • Strong proficiency in graphic design tools for creating visually appealing content that aligns with our brand identity
  • Experience with video editing software for producing short, impactful clips
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling captions and engage professionally with a high-profile audience
  • Demonstrated experience with social media scheduling and analytics tools
  • Self-motivated with strong time management skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • In-depth understanding of social media best practices, trends, and their application in a B2B context
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining brand consistency across all platforms
  • Discretion and understanding of the sensitive nature of our industry and clientele
  • Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate posting schedules and engagement management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
  • Portfolio of previous social media work that demonstrates creativity and strategic thinking (APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT PORTFOLIOS)
