The Professional 2, Creative Development Associate is primarily responsible for setting up and initiating the delivery of various digital communications using Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This role is essential in coordinating the delivery, timing, and execution of marketing communications through predetermined design elements and content, effectively representing Humana Military's products, services, and brands to customers.
Working in collaboration with the Digital Marketing and Communications team, the associate will implement and coordinate digital communications, including emails, mobile push notifications, text messaging, and other channels. Responsibilities also include designing and implementing automated customer journeys, triggered communications, and workflow processes to enhance engagement and efficiency.
Key Accountabilities -
40% - Coordinates the development of marketing and communications materials and templates, ensuring they effectively represent the organization’s products and services for target audiences.
30% - Develops and oversees digital communications such as emails, text messages, and digital notifications, utilizing various communication strategies and platforms to engage customers and prospects.
20% - Collaborates on sponsorships, events, and sales promotions, aligning efforts with organizational strategies and objectives.
10% - Makes independent decisions regarding work methods and strategies, following established guidelines while receiving guidance as needed. Exercises critical thinking to determine appropriate actions in varied situations.
Required Qualifications
Our Department of Defense Contract requires U.S. citizenship for this position.
Successfully receive interim approval for government security clearance (NBIS - National Background Investigation Services)

Bachelor's degree
1 - 4 years of experience developing and maintaining customer journeys, workflows, and automation processes within Salesforce Marketing Cloud
1 year of experience with Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Email Studio to create seamless, data-driven customer experiences
1 year of experience with configuring Salesforce Flow, Process Builder, and automation rules to optimize communication touchpoints
1 year of experience with segmenting and managing data extensions, audiences and personalization logic for targeted messaging
1 year of experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Salesforce workflows and integrations
Must live in Eastern or Central time zone
Work at Home Requirements
At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested
Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership
Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
