Senior Scrum Master (Remote)

The Senior Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating Agile processes across multiple teams, coaching teams on Agile methodologies, and ensuring the efficient execution of product development cycles. As a servant leader, you will guide teams to reach their full potential, removing roadblocks, and ensuring adherence to Scrum principles, while fostering a continuous improvement mindset. This role will require close collaboration with product owners, developers, QA engineers, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsilibities:

• Agile Leadership: Lead, coach, and mentor multiple Scrum teams in adopting Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum, Kanban, and Lean practices.
• Facilitation: Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions. Ensure teams remain focused and productive during Scrum events.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product owners, development teams, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities, objectives, and timelines.
• Impediment Removal: Actively work to identify and remove roadblocks that hinder the team’s ability to deliver quality work.
• Metrics & Reporting: Provide insights into team progress and performance by leveraging Agile metrics such as velocity, burn-down charts, and cycle times.
• Continuous Improvement: Encourage a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Facilitate retrospective sessions and implement actionable improvements.
• Stakeholder Management: Communicate progress and challenges to key stakeholders and senior leadership. Advocate for the needs of the team.
• Agile Maturity: Help teams and individuals enhance their understanding and adoption of Agile principles and practices.
• Change Management: Support organizational Agile transformations, championing the adoption of Agile practices across departments.

Requirements

• Experience: At least 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, with a proven track record of facilitating Agile practices across multiple teams.

• Certifications: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or similar Agile certifications preferred. Additional certifications in Lean, SAFe, or other Agile frameworks are a plus.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean).
• Ability to mentor and coach teams at different stages of Agile maturity.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to remove obstacles to team success.
• Proficiency in Agile tools (Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar).
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

• Being able to manage multiple projects at the same time
• Available for scheduled and ad-hoc calls/meetings/chats during weekdays working
• Quiet workspace, conducive to video meetings & calls
• Access to a reliable high-speed Internet connection; at least 25MBPS.
• Double monitors preferred but not required (if available)
