Job Description:
Your focus will be to consistently drive sales, deliver exceptional customer service, train/educate customers on our products, and to actively develop on current mutual relationships to enable long term sustainable growth and profitability.
As the successful candidate, you will drive growth in the Pet Specialty Retail channel by taking action to identify gaps, ensure KPI's are consistently hit, but most importantly building long lasting and positive relationships with all new & existing clients (and of course all furry friends).
Ability to build relationships with a diverse demographic customer base
Possession of a driver's licence and a clean driving record
Someone passionate and self-motivated to drive for results within an autonomous role
Experience in either Territory Sales, Customer Service and/or retail role
Experience within FMCG industry is preferred, but not essential
Digital capabilities to manage advertising on Facebook & Instagram as well as an understanding of the functionality of online stores
Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service (including training and education on our products)
An ability to develop effective and mutual relationships which enable long term sustainable growth and profitability
Solid Excel capabilities are also a strong advantage
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders
Achieve profitable sales growth objectives within assigned territory by utilising strong selling skills while developing and understanding customer needs to increase growth of sales
Using clear and influential communication skills to present educational content
Monitoring of financial performance and revenue profit targets
Negotiating a promotional calendar for independent stores, measuring and reviewing return on investment (ROI) and effectiveness.
Identify additional opportunities for increased distribution of Royal Canin brands by assessing market data, trends and customer preferences
Quarterly business reviews for key Independent Accounts
Product training and education to maximise the customer's product knowledge and skills to selling our products
Providing product recommendations and advice to ensure the customer adopts our products as first choice.
