Job description

Job Description

Agilent is a global leader in laboratory technologies for the life sciences, diagnostics, and applied chemical markets, delivering insight and innovation that advance the quality of life.  We are 18,000 people across 30+ countries with a shared passion for science.  It is the quality of our products and services, our intense focus, and our uncompromising integrity that enable our customers to discover new frontiers and make continuous advancements in areas such as: cancer research and diagnostics, drug development, food safety, and laboratory performance and efficiency.

The Cell Analysis Inside Sales Development Internship Program is a paid 12-month opportunity to perform remote work that is part time during the semester and full time over the summer.  This internship is for students who are currently pursuing a B.S., M.S., or equivalent degree in the life sciences or other biological fields.

Cell Analysis Sales Development interns will work with an experienced sales team and acquire valuable skills in prospecting, lead generation, customer engagement, and maintenance of account information in CRM software. Through targeted training, interns build skills in both cell analysis instrumentation and the ways that customers use this technology to answer a variety of scientific questions.  Interns will also pursue independent projects that have a real impact on Agilent employees and customers.

Benefits

  • Hourly pay with holiday pay included.

  • Engaging and fun work environment.

  • Remote work with a flexible schedule during the academic year.

This is an exciting opportunity for early talent looking to start a career in the biotechnology industry.  As part of the next generation of innovators and business leaders, you’ll share your skills and perspectives on real projects from day one.  You'll join a team with a lot of experience in the industry and use the latest technology to find solutions that will keep you, Agilent, and the labs we serve at the top of their game.  Make a difference from the start!
